Job summary

Bridgewell in Massachusetts is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide daily living support to people with developmental, physical and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings. You will participate in skills training, ensure safety, document progress, and coordinate with guardians and staff while adhering to regulatory standards.

A high school diploma or GED is required, with 5+ years' relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 5+ years of verified experience in the same position is required.
• Experience with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living skills training and support during day/evening/overnight shifts.
• Foster independence by creating opportunities for decision-making.
• Ensure services comply with DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF and Bridgewell policies.
• Administer medications according to MAP regulations, as applicable.
• Maintain daily progress notes and required documentation.
