Bridgewell in Massachusetts seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide daily living support to individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities. The role involves overnight hours, skill-building, and community integration, with training in behavioral support and MAP/CPR policies as required.

The position emphasizes compassionate care, documentation, safety, and collaboration with guardians and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 5+ years in the same role preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic web-based agency systems.
• Must hold a valid US driver's license with experience driving large vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living skills training and support in residential settings.
• Assist clients to develop independence and decision-making in daily activities.
• Follow regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies in all care processes.
• Administer medications as required and document accordingly.
• Transport and accompany clients to activities and appointments.
• Maintain accurate progress notes and shift checklists.
• Complete routine household duties and ensure safety within the home.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in supervision sessions.
