Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings. The role involves daily living skills training, supervision, and coordinating activities to promote independence and safety.

Responsibilities include medications administration per MAP, documentation, and collaboration with guardians and staff. Requires flexibility for shifts including overnights as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 5+ years of verified experience required.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide skills training in activities of daily living.
• Assist people to develop independence and decision-making.
• Follow regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
• Administer medications per MAP regulations, if applicable.
• Maintain progress notes and documentation.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Perform household cleaning duties.
• Provide safe transportation as needed.
