Job summary

Pike Electric, Inc. is seeking a Groundman to support crews in the construction and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution systems.

You will assist with building and repairing lines, poles, insulators, and related hardware while prioritizing safety and teamwork. The position requires willingness to travel, physical stamina for demanding outdoor work, and the ability to work extended hours, including during outages and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and able to obtain a CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/carry/push/pull materials up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours including weekends, holidays, and on-call outages.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Help install and repair power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and during outages or emergencies.
