Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Groundman to support the construction and maintenance of overhead distribution systems. You will assist with installing, repairing, and inspecting components while joining a crew under a Foreman.

You must be willing to travel, lift up to 50 pounds, and work outside typical hours, including emergencies. A strong safety mindset and PPE discipline are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required; ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours, weekends, and on-call rotations.
• Commitment to safety and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in construction, repair, and maintenance of overhead distribution systems.
• Help install and repair power poles, lines, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good condition.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.
• Support outages, storms and emergency response including on-call rotations.
• Follow safety protocols and correctly use PPE.

Skills
