Pike Electric LLC is hiring a Groundman to support construction and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution systems. You will assist the crew under the Foreman, performing tasks from installation to repair and ensuring safety at all times.

Expect outdoor, physically demanding work, occasional travel, and availability for outages and overtime. The position emphasizes safety protocols and collaboration within a team to keep power infrastructure functioning reliably.

• Required safety awareness and ability to perform rigorous physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building, repairing and maintaining overhead distribution systems.
• Help install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good condition.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and during outages or emergencies.
