Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Groundman to support our electrical distribution projects nationwide. This entry-level position assists the crew in constructing, repairing, and maintaining overhead power lines and related infrastructure.

You will help with pole installations, line work, and equipment maintenance while prioritizing safety and efficiency. The role requires outdoor work in varying conditions, willingness to travel, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and ability to obtain a CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and on call/outage rotations.

Responsibilities

• Assist team in building, repairing, and maintaining overhead electrical distribution systems.
• Perform new construction and maintenance of overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair power lines, poles, insulators, conductors, and related hardware.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order.
• Work outdoors in varied weather and be available for outages, storms, emergencies including on-call rotation.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE usage.
