Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Groundman to support the construction, repair and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution systems. You will assist your Foreman and team in building, repairing and maintaining lines, poles, insulators and related hardware while prioritizing safety on every task.

This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, willingness to travel long distances on short notice, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain a CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety protocols and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Assist your Foreman and team in building, repairing and maintaining overhead electrical distribution systems.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE usage; report hazards.
• Inspect PPE and equipment and maintain company vehicles and tools.
• Work on-call during outages, storms and emergencies; overtime as needed.
• Use hand signals and communication on job sites to coordinate activities.
