Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Groundman to support construction, repair and maintenance of overhead electrical distribution systems. You will assist your team under the Foreman and participate in outages, storms and emergency callouts.

The role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a CDL within 60 days, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, a willingness to travel long distances, and to work outside normal hours in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required; CDL within 60 days.
• Ability to lift, carry or push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.
• Willing to work outside normal business hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to safety and PPE procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building, repairing and maintaining overhead electrical distribution systems.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.
• Perform work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and during outages or emergencies.
• Follow safety protocols including PPE use and proper handling of insulated equipment.
• Assist the Foreman and crew to ensure efficient project progress.
