Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to safely construct and repair energy overhead distribution systems across multiple sites, including out-of-state locations. You will climb structures, operate bucket trucks, and mentor apprentices while supporting outages and storms.

Qualifications

• Five years of recent overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours.
• Work outside normal hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems with safety first.
• Lead crew in absence of supervisor and conduct safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles and hardware.
• Perform live-line work with gloves and hot-sticks techniques.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks and related equipment.
