Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to safely construct and repair overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to various job sites, and report to the Foreman.

The role requires leading crews, training apprentices, and performing live-line work with proper PPE and equipment. The ideal candidate has five years of overhead line experience, a valid CDL, and willingness to travel long distances on short notice.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience.
• Valid CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Live-line work using approved techniques and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems, energized or de-energized.
• Lead crew in absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen on safety and procedures.
• Install and repair lines, poles, insulators, and related hardware.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques and troubleshoot faults.
