Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct, repair, and maintain energized and de-energized overhead distribution systems across diverse job sites. You will work on powerlines at various heights, travel as required, and report to the Foreman.

The role requires five years of overhead line experience, a valid CDL, willingness to travel, and flexibility in working extended hours, including outages and emergencies. Training apprentices and leading crews are key parts of the job.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours including weekends and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew members in absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and hardware.
• Operate bucket trucks and other overhead line equipment.
