Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems, working on energized and de-energized lines. Expect travel to different job sites, including out-of-state, with duties including leading crews and mentoring apprentices.

The role requires five years of overhead line experience, a valid CDL, and willingness to travel on short notice. You will work outdoors in all weather, perform live-line work, and be on-call for outages and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems on energized and de-energized lines.
• Lead crew when needed; train apprentices and groundmen.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
• Operate bucket trucks and other overhead line equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying conditions and be available for outages and on-call rotations.
