Job summary

5 Star Electric, LLC (5 Star) is seeking an Overhead Distribution Lineman – C Class in Kentucky to perform line work on distribution and transmission projects. The role requires climbing poles, operating heavy equipment, and working outdoors in all weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.

Location includes Western Kentucky and Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. Candidates must have a valid State Driver License and a Class A CDL with medical card; OSHA 10-hour training within 60 days, and

Qualifications

• Overhead line work and safety knowledge required.
• Ability to climb poles and work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to read and follow oral/written instructions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Thorough knowledge of methods, practices and equipment of electrical line work.
• Follow safety precautions to manage hazards on energized lines.
• Climb poles and set poles for distribution lines; string wires and connect transformers.
• Respond to work orders for disconnections, reconnections, and new service.
