Job summary

5 Star Electric, LLC is seeking an Overhead Distribution Lineman – B Class to join our team in Kentucky. The role includes working energized and de-energized lines, climbing poles, and performing skilled electrical line tasks on a fast-paced crew.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of experience, a valid driver license, a Class A CDL with current medical card, and OSHA 10hr certification. Overtime and storm work are common in this field.

Qualifications

• Two to Three (2-3) years of experience or equivalent hours.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver License is required.
• Must have a Clean Valid Class A CDL and current medical examiner card.

Responsibilities

• Thorough knowledge of methods, practices and equipment of electrical line work.
• Ability to climb poles and perform strenuous duties in various weather.
• Operate service truck and set poles for lines, string wire, and install transformers.
• Respond to work orders for disconnections, reconnections, and new services.
• Maintain tools and equipment and ensure safety standards for crew.
