Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a truck driver to pick up and deliver trailers between service centers and turn-point locations. You will operate tractor-trailers (including doubles/triples where allowed) and perform safety inspections, hook/unhook equipment, and manage logs and documentation.

Must have a Class A CDL with hazmat and tank endorsements, an acceptable MVR, and meet DOT requirements. Overnight schedules and varied hours may apply, with starting pay referenced per mile or per hour depending

Qualifications

• CDL A with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• 1 year of driving experience in the last 3 years or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must have an acceptable MVR and meet DOT regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles/triples where applicable.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies to/from a tractor and/or trailer.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and follow dispatch instructions.
