Job summary

BDO USA, P.A. is seeking a Manager, Outsourced Finance & Accounting for Government Contracting engagements. This role oversees the full lifecycle of client projects, from proposal development and staffing to delivery of final work products and portfolio performance.

You will lead client relationships, ensure compliance with FAR, CAS, and DCAA, supervise Associates, and coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting to optimize contract profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, required
• Six (6) or more years of progressive accounting experience, including three (3) or more years of leading accounting teams in a government contracting environment, required
• CPA or CPA candidate, preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee full life cycle of outsourced GovCon engagements, including proposal development and staffing
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and GAAP-compliant statements
• Ensure FAR, CAS, DCAA compliance and maintain a DCAA-compliant accounting system
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support executive decisions
• Train and develop Associates and Senior Associates
