Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Manager, Outsourced Finance & Accounting to oversee the full life cycle of government contracting outsourcing engagements, including proposal development, staff assignment, and client relationship management. You will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, ensure GAAP-compliant statements, manage indirect rates, and maintain FAR/CAS/DCAA compliance while guiding associates.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, 6+ years of progressive accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, required.
• Six (6) or more years of accounting experience with 3+ years in leadership in GovCon.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred; strong Excel skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full life cycle of GovCon outsourcing engagements and client relationships.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant closes, revenue recognition, and contract accounting.
• Maintain FAR, CAS, DCAA compliance and manage indirect rates and pricing.
