Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Manager, Outsourced Finance & Accounting to lead the full lifecycle of GovCon outsourcing engagements, from proposals to staff oversight and client relationship management. The role involves ensuring GAAP-compliant financial reporting, accurate revenue recognition, and compliance with FAR, CAS, and DCAA standards.

Responsibilities include close processes, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support executive decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
• Six+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years leading accounting teams in GovCon environment.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred; strong GAAP knowledge and government contracting experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full accounting functions: G/L, A/P, A/R, payroll, fixed assets, cash management, indirect rate calculation, GovCon project accounting.
• Manage month, quarter, and year-end close; prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Ensure revenue recognition accuracy, contract accounting, and policy adherence under FAR, CAS, DCAA.
