Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a proven outside sales professional to drive growth in an assigned territory and help customers package, transport and display products with tailored packaging solutions.

You will collaborate with design and finance teams, manage accounts, and maintain pricing while building long-term relationships. A bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of outside sales experience, plus a valid driver’s license, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or 3-5 years of outside sales experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage time.
• Independent judgment in negotiating sales agreements.

Responsibilities

• Achieves sales goals and executes sales plans within an assigned sales territory and/or account with new or existing business.
• Secures and maintains distribution of products and/or services, providing pricing, negotiating, and maintaining effective sales agreements.
• Creates, monitors, and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.
• Responsible for overall account management, including recordkeeping, forecasts, budgets and credit collections from delinquent accounts.
