Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a high-performing outside sales professional to drive growth in a defined territory. You will secure distribution, manage pricing and contracts, and build lasting customer relationships while coordinating with internal teams to deliver compelling packaging solutions.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of outside sales experience, with a proven track record in meeting sales goals and developing new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years outside sales experience preferred and proven track record.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Experience in price negotiations and contract terms.
• Knowledge of sales pipeline management and CRM usage.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals and execute plans in the assigned territory.
• Secure and maintain distribution of products and services.
• Provide pricing, negotiate, and maintain sales agreements.
• Create, monitor, and revise lead generation plans for a strong pipeline.
• Foster and maintain relationships with current customers.
• Coordinate with design department to improve customer designs and offerings.
• Review opportunities and procedural efficiency with sales manager.
• Oversee overall account management including recordkeeping, forecasts, and budgets.
