Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a Sales Representative to drive new business and expand relationships within a defined territory. You will develop packaging and design solutions to meet customer needs and contribute to a high-performing sales team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
3+ years of sales experience in corrugated packaging or packaging solutions & distribution.
Valid driver's license with a good 3-year driving record.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure, be self-motivated, manage time, and support team success.
Ability to use independent judgment in negotiating sales agreements with difficult accounts.

Responsibilities

Achieves sales goals and executes sales plans within an assigned territory or accounts with new or existing business.
Secures and maintains distribution of products/services, provides pricing, negotiates, and maintains effective sales agreements.
Creates, monitors, and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales pipeline and expands existing business.
Coordinates with design to improve existing designs and develops new designs for customers.
Reviews opportunities and procedures with the sales manager and may handle recordkeeping, forecasts, budgets, and collections.
