Job summary

A NYC-based wholesale distributor is seeking Outside Sales Representatives to grow its wholesale customer base across New York City. You will visit stores, present our catalog, and generate orders, building lasting relationships with owners and managers.

This part-time role requires travel throughout assigned NYC neighborhoods and offers commission-based earnings. Employment is Part-time with immediate start, and you will work to develop recurring customer accounts with strong earning potential

Qualifications

• Outside/field sales experience preferred.
• Must be confident approaching business owners in person.

We are a growing NYC-based wholesale distributor supplying businesses with a wide variety of everyday merchandise, including health & beauty products, household goods, cleaning supplies, paper & plastic products, personal care items, and other fast-moving consumer products.

We are looking for motivated Outside Sales Representatives to help grow our wholesale customer base throughout New York City.

What You'll Do

Your main responsibility will be going store-to-store in assigned areas, meeting with store owners and managers, presenting our wholesale catalog, and generating wholesale orders.

• Visit delis, grocery stores, pharmacies, convenience stores, beauty supply stores, discount stores, and other retailers.
• Present our wholesale catalog and current deals.
• Develop new wholesale customers and accounts.
• Take orders from customers.
• Build relationships with store owners and managers.
• Follow up with potential and existing customers.
• Identify new sales opportunities within your territory.
• Keep track of stores visited, contacts, orders, and follow-ups.

• Previous experience in outside sales, wholesale, route sales, B2B sales, grocery, convenience stores, pharmacies, or retail is a plus.

Compensation

This is a commission-based sales position. You will earn commission based on the wholesale sales you generate. The more accounts you open and the more merchandise you sell, the more you can earn. There is strong earning potential for motivated salespeople who can develop a recurring customer base. Commission structure and payment details will be discussed during the interview.
