Job summary

84 Lumber is seeking a Contractor Sales Representative to build and manage a book of business by selling products and services to customers away from each 84 Lumber store location. You will cultivate relationships, identify needs, and guide clients through product choices with a focus on post-sale support and ongoing communication.

The role emphasizes proactive lead generation, accurate material estimates, and timely reporting while preparing for progression toward an Outside Sales

Qualifications

• Create and continually grow book of business and acquire new customers.
• Create material estimates/read blueprints.
• Source special order material.
• Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
• Communicates with customers and leads to identify needs; suggests products/services.
• Demonstrates product functions and utility based on needs.
• Maintains customer satisfaction and resolves post-sale issues.
• Maintains contact with existing and previous customers about new products and enhancements.
• Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales and relationships.
