Job summary

QXO is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive growth across a 250-mile territory with occasional overnight travel. You will expand sales, build strategic plans, and present proposals to customers at all levels while leveraging CRM data to track activities and outcomes.

The role requires 1+ year in B2B outside sales, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to travel. A Bachelor’s degree or college coursework is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Bachelor’s degree or some college preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an outside sales representative selling business to business.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record in last 3 years; no more than 2 moving violations.
• Overnight travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Expand sales volume and profits within the territory by calling on new and existing customers.
• Use pre-call planning, market information, scheduling, and opportunity maximization.
• Develop strategic sales plans and forecasts for the territory.
• Identify and pursue additional sales opportunities in current and new product lines.
• Communicate order details to Customer Service Representatives.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, reports, and presentations for customers at all levels.
• Report weekly sales activities and forecasting information.
• Utilize CRM to build a database for account calls and results.
• Attend training and trade shows as required.
• Plan sales trips to maximize coverage within budget.
