Job summary

BC Wire Rope, a division of American Equipment Holdings, seeks an Outside Sales Representative to develop client relationships and drive growth in the territory. You will lead product demonstrations, prepare proposals, and manage pricing with customers while coordinating with service and operations teams.

The role requires traveling to client sites, building a robust pipeline, and maintaining CRM records. A related degree and several years in industrial equipment sales are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in industrial equipment sales.
• Experience in Rigging/Lifting products industry is a plus.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and people skills.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to travel frequently and work independently.
• Knowledge of overhead cranes and rigging preferred.
• Mechanical background and technical experience are a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential clients in the assigned territory.
• Follow up qualified leads and contacts.
• Organize, manage, and drive sales to support growth in the territory.
• Coordinate pre- and post-sales support to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Develop pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed budget.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts.
• Update and maintain CRM system for territory customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to clients, including training and inspection services.
• Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure sales.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and market changes.
• Attend trade shows and events to network and promote products.
