Job summary

Harris is seeking an Outside Sales Representative - Preventive Maintenance in Bowie, MD to learn and grow by selling HVAC and plumbing maintenance agreements through cold calling, prospecting, and building relationships with prospective clients.

Under supervision, you will update records with the General Manager and Sr Solutions Consultant, develop proposals, and participate in business development and customer care to maximize retention and profits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business or technical field.
• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• 1+ years prospecting and appointment setting/cold calling.
• 2+ years proven ability to strategize, present, and close sales.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Willingness to learn Conceptual Sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Sell HVAC and plumbing maintenance agreements via cold calling and prospecting.
• Update records with the General Manager and Sr Solutions Consultant.
• Prepare sales proposals and identify prospects from clients and referrals.
• Understand prospect’s organization and decision process; address objections.
• Develop relationships with customers, vendors, and outside agents.
• Collaborate with service team to optimize customer satisfaction and retention.
