Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, sales or hospitality.
• 3+ years in Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales preferred or Sysco Sales Internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth in assigned territory.
• Qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and tailor a mix of products and services.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products based on business needs.
• Be informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ offerings and share insights with customers.
• Answer questions about products, prices, availability, and use.
• Provide product information and practical training to customers.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events.
• Collect accounts receivable as needed and coordinate with credit terms.
• Manage deliveries per routing schedules and troubleshoot order issues.
• Participate in company events, promotions, and customer visits.
• Attend sales and district meetings and participate in training.
