Job summary

ABC Supply is the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products seeking talented Outside Sales Representatives who love to build relationships, promote great products, and deliver world‑class service.

In this role you will sell residential and commercial building materials to contractor customers and strategically build new relationships using exclusive sales tools, with high earning potential through base pay plus commissions.

Qualifications

• College degree in Business, Sales or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to manage time effectively and organize priorities.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage customer relationships.
• Use sales reports to recognize opportunities in buying patterns.
• Make cold calls to prospective customers.
• Follow leads and schedule appointments with prospects.
• Follow up with customers and provide solutions for service concerns.
• Provide training to customers on product lines and services.
• Assist customers in the credit application process.
• Connect with customers to ensure past due bills are paid and collect payments when necessary.
