Job summary

NFIB is seeking an Elite Outside Sales Advocate in Lexington, KY to grow the membership base by engaging independent business owners across industries. You will be the boots-on-the-ground presence, selling membership and driving advocacy.

You will master a proven sales model, handle in-person presentations, and pursue a high-energy, high-reward path through uncapped commissions and full benefits. Training pay and mileage support are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial background: owned a business, led a department, or managed a territory as if it were your own.
• Relational grit: persistent, can build rapport with business owners face-to-face.
• Coach mentality: eager to learn, embraces a proven sales model.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting: conduct in-person cold calls to meet small business owners.
• The NFIB Presentation: master and deliver a concise 5-minute sales pitch.
• The Close: use an assumptive one-call close to enroll new members and collect payments.
• Advocacy: educate owners on NFIB's role in protecting rights at DC and state capitals.
