Job summary

Sonitrol (a Pye-Barker Fire & Safety company) is seeking a Commercial Security Consultant who specializes in growing a new client base within the commercial intrusion, access control, video surveillance & fire alarm verticals. This role requires a strong work ethic, outstanding communication, and a tech mindset to develop industry partnerships in an assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or relevant field.
• A minimum 2 years of outside sales experience.
• Excellent communication, organizational & interpersonal skills.
• Excellent sales & negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by building new customer relationships while maintaining existing ones within an assigned territory.
• Communicate with new prospective clients to identify and understand their business and security needs; identify and suggest solutions.
• Design and present integrated security solutions to prospective and existing client base.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Sonitrol core product solutions while staying abreast of current market trends.
• Develop relationships with relevant industry partners.
• Identify new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities.
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Utilize CRM for sales activity and backlog reporting.
