Job summary

True North Group LLC is seeking a Direct Sales Representative to drive outside sales for insurance solutions to small and medium-sized businesses in Overland Park, KS. You will visit business owners, present to groups, and serve as a trusted advisor, with a flexible schedule and the opportunity for growth.

You will build relationships, respond to client inquiries, and help clients select the best plans for their employees, using Salesforce CRM for outreach and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer-facing roles, especially outside sales.
• Ability to teach others in person and online.
• Strong organization and clear communication skills.
• Desire to help and care for others.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emails and phone inquiries from clients.
• Set up meetings to assess client needs.
• Attend team/manager meetings.
• Prospect new businesses and manage referrals.
• Build and maintain your own client list.
• Collaborate with manager to set monthly/quarterly sales goals.
• Develop relationships with local business owners.
• Share your weekly work schedule with your manager.
• Follow up on leads and perform in-person cold calls.
• Report daily sales activities.
