Job summary

True North Group LLC. is seeking a Direct Sales Representative to build relationships with business owners and their teams, helping them select the best insurance plans for employees. The role offers autonomous scheduling and in-person or phone outreach using Salesforce CRM.

You’ll meet clients in person, present to groups, and act as a trusted advisor through ongoing client support, including claims assistance. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer-facing roles, especially outside sales.
• Ability to train others in person and online.
• Strong organizational skills and clear communication.
• Health & Life license or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emails and phone calls from clients.
• Set up meetings to review client needs.
• Attend meetings with team or manager.
• Find new businesses, referrals, and business-to-business sales.
• Build and maintain your own client list.
• Work with your manager to set sales goals each month and quarter.
• Build relationships with local business owners.
• Set your own work schedule and share it with your manager each week.
• Follow up on leads and cold call new businesses in person.
• Report your daily sales activities.
