Job summary

Freshpoint, Inc. in Plymouth/Hyannis, Massachusetts is seeking an outside sales professional to promote the company's products and build relationships with new and existing accounts. The role may require some evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet customer needs.

You will develop new business, nurture accounts, and participate in sales training while contributing to profitable growth. Competitive base salary with bonus and promotional incentives, plus a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sales, and/or chef/restaurant management experience, and/or related (Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality; or Culinary Arts) degree.
• 1 year of outside foodservice sales experience preferred.
• Restaurant management / chef experience preferred.
• Must reside or be willing to relocate to the territory.
• Pass employment testing and sign the covenants agreement.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Seek and qualify prospects and research customer needs.
• Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events.
• Manage deliveries to the routing schedule and handle order issues.
• Attend sales and district meetings and participate in training sessions.
