Job summary

Sysco is seeking an energetic outside sales professional for the Plymouth/Hyannis, Massachusetts area. The role focuses on developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and delivering tailored foodservice solutions to customers, while meeting sales and profitability goals.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in sales or restaurant/chef leadership, strong Excel/Outlook skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales, and/or chef/restaurant management experience or related degree.
• 1 year of outside foodservice sales experience preferred
• Restaurant management / chef experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and objectives.
• Seek and qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer business needs and tailor products and services accordingly.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, meetings, and events.
