Job summary

Freshpoint is seeking an experienced outside Sales Professional to promote products and build relationships with new and existing accounts. Some non-traditional hours may be required to meet customer needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The role emphasizes growing profitable sales, market awareness, and delivering value-added services to customers within the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Must have High School degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of sales, and/or chef/restaurant management experience, and/or related degree.
• 1 year of outside foodservice sales experience preferred.
• Restaurant management / chef experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Seek and qualify prospects following company account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and tailor a mix of products and services.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers.
• Share market and product information as part of value-added services.
• Provide product training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events.
• Review daily/weekly reports and assist with sales budgets and quotes.
