Job summary

Franklin Energy / AM Conservation seeks an Outreach Specialist to develop and coordinate program outreach, working with customers, contractors and internal teams to hit energy-savings targets.

You will make outbound calls, present program benefits, track progress, and prepare weekly reports. The role involves field travel up to 50% and requires strong communication and customer-service skills to drive adoption of efficiency programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 1–2 years of experience in the electric or natural gas utility industry, sales, commercial and industrial lighting, or conservation.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Apply sales processes and techniques to outreach activities.
• Make outbound calls to meet energy saving targets.
• Coordinate with contractors and customers to promote programs.
• Develop program presentations to drive project activity.
• Prepare weekly activity reports and track progress toward goals.
• Travel up to 50% and participate in events as needed.
