Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking an Outreach Manager II to lead a team of Energy Advisors, Outreach Specialists, and Energy Engineers across its energy efficiency programs. You will identify opportunities for energy savings and coordinate prescriptive and custom incentives for diverse customer segments.

You will report to management to ensure efficient outreach processes and timely cross-department communication, while guiding data-driven improvements and program goals across states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in customer outreach/sales.
• Experience with energy efficiency programs.
• Experience managing staff performing outreach activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor the Outreach team (Energy Advisors, Outreach Specialists, Energy Engineers).
• Interview, hire and train staff as needed.
• Plan, coach, assign work, review contributions and conduct performance reviews.
• Achieve program objectives by maintaining productivity and service metrics.
• Coordinate with Technology dept to diagnose software problems and guide improvements.
• Prepare status reports and support data systems for operations reporting.
• Develop and monitor Outreach team structure to meet monthly/quarterly/annual goals.
• Manage the Outreach budget and strategic planning of programs and initiatives.
• Oversee outreach activities across multiple states and customer segments.
