Brown University Health is seeking a Scheduler to assist in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating activities in the nursing station, performing clerical and receptionist duties, and maintaining the area’s environment. Saint Annes Hospital in Fall River, MA is the site.

The role focuses on accurate outpatient bookings, patient information collection, cancellations, and coordination with MD offices to ensure smooth scheduling processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling or registration.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Keyboard and data entry experience.

Responsabilités

• Accurately takes bookings for outpatient services.
• Gathers necessary patient information for bookings.
• Processes cancellations and rescheduling quickly and accurately.
• Records MD orders and resolves discrepancies between orders and tests.
• Responds promptly to booking problems from patients and MD offices.
• Pre-registers patients for last-minute bookings.
• Provides accurate and timely answers to inquiries from patients and MD offices.
