Responsibilities

• Schedule patients using hospital scheduling system and set appointment type, provider, and time.
• Handle pre-registration and registration using the online billing system and verify demographics.
• Enter diagnosis and service codes accurately; collect co-pays and issue receipts; prepare registration cards.
• Coordinate referrals, pre-authorizations, and authorizations as needed; contact outside agencies for information.
• Provide patient-focused support, answer calls, confirm eligibility, and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
