Aufgaben

• Provides skilled physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assists with implementing individualized treatment plans to address patient goals.
• Instructs patients on therapeutic exercises and gait, balance, and daily activities.
• Assists with use of assistive devices and orthotics.
• Administers modalities as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Monitors and documents patient responses and progress.
• Communicates with the PT and adjusts the program as needed.
• Participates in discharge planning and home exercise instruction.
• Educates patients and families on exercises, safety, and home programs.
• Documents care and charges in the EMR.
• Maintains compliance with NY State requirements and safety procedures.
