Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatment under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans to address patient goals.
• Instruct and assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and activities of daily living.
• Assist patients with use of assistive devices (crutches, walkers, canes, orthotics).
• Perform modalities as directed (e.g., hot/cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation).
• Document patient responses and progress in the electronic medical record.
