Job summary

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, LLC (IBJI) is seeking a Physical Therapist for its outpatient rehab program. The role focuses on delivering superior care in a collaborative setting with physicians and therapists to optimize function and outcomes.

The package features a strong base salary, quarterly bonuses up to $11,500, sign-on bonus, profit sharing, and comprehensive benefits, plus substantial CE allowances and mentoring for new grads. Base salary ranges from $82k to $110k yearly.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited Physical Therapy Program
• Licensed or eligible to sit for boards in the state of Illinois
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Professional and effective writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift greater than 25 pounds
• Good body mechanics for lifting, pulling, pushing
• Standing and sitting for sequences longer than 30 minutes
• Ability to work on a computer for lengthy times during the day

Responsibilities

• Exceptional patient care
• Interprets physician orders, performs initial evaluations and establishes treatment plans and functional goals
• Upgrade and amend treatment goals as necessary during the episode of care
• Written documentation on patient status to physicians per compliance guidelines of IBJI rehab
• Determine discharge timeline and follow-up
• Supervision of Rehabilitation Technicians with patient care and administrative staff
• Timely documentation of all treatment in patient charts
• Stay current with billing policies and ethical billing practices
• Maintain active state license by earning CEUs through IBJI opportunities
• Develop positive relationships with IBJI physician teams
• Active role in patient medical team with physicians and case managers
• Participate in IBJI programs: Mentoring, clinical educator, special interest group, community outreach
