Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in an academic healthcare environment is implied.
• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma is required.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with Office Suite and basic financial processes.
• Knowledge of GAAP and adaptability to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, hiring, evaluating, training and developing support staff.
• Provide day-to-day supervision and direction to support staff.
• Assign work and monitor performance.
• Coordinate managed care/billing functions including referrals, verification, registration and cash handling.
• Oversee patient scheduling, wait times, staff coverage and follow-up appointments.
• Oversee purchase orders, petty cash and check requests.
• Maintain and order office supplies and equipment.
