Henderson Group in Cayuga, NY is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to join a supportive rehabilitation team in a busy outpatient clinic. The role focuses on evaluation, hands-on care, patient education, and collaborative care to improve function and quality of life for a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings.
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of hire (NY).
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic treatments (exercises, manual therapy, modalities, education).
• Educate patients on exercises, posture, and injury prevention for long-term recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team for integrated care.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet rehabilitation goals.
• Document treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries per policy.
