The position emphasizes patient-centered care, ongoing professional development, and a day shift schedule. A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and NY licensure are required, with BLS due within 90 days of hire.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold or be eligible for a valid NY Physical Therapist license.
• DPT or equivalent degree from an accredited program required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Outpatient PT experience preferred; strong patient care skills.

Aufgaben

• Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic treatments: exercises, manual therapy, modalities.
• Educate patients on exercise programs, posture, and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team for patient care.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet rehab goals.
• Document plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries per policy.
• Provide patient education to empower ongoing rehabilitation.
