Job summary

Summit Health is seeking a Phlebotomy Tech to join our lab team. You will draw blood cultures, process specimens, and document results in the LIS. The role includes preparing collection containers and performing rapid tests as required.

The position requires a high school diploma and 2 years of phlebotomy experience; certification is preferred. Expect a full-time schedule with occasional Saturday/Sunday rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy Certification (NHA) preferred; CLA may be required.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood cultures using aseptic technique.
• Process specimens and document results in LIS.
• Prepare and label collection containers for home collection.
• Perform Rapid Strep and Hemoccult tests as required.
• Train staff on lab policies and procedures.
