Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking a Part Time Phlebotomist for satellite lab locations within the region. You will draw blood cultures, collect samples for STAT testing, and ensure proper documentation and sample handling.

The role involves travel to nearby labs and working 16 hours per week. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification is preferred and a minimum of two years in phlebotomy with HIPAA knowledge is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy Technician Certification (NHA) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience and drug screen collection preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draws blood cultures using aseptic technique.
• Processes stat specimens per SOP and labels correctly.
• Collects home specimens (urine/stool) with proper instructions.
• Maintains accurate paperwork, labeling and tracing for samples.
