Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Minnesota is seeking an entry-level professional registered nurse (CAP 1) to join the outpatient dialysis team. You will participate in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned patient group within the CAP program.

The role involves collaboration with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians, and leadership duties as assigned. On-the-job training is provided, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the applicable state.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience in nephrology dialysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs care under supervision with guidance from the Clinical Educator or RN Team Leader.
• Documents patient data and adjusts care plans as needed.
• Provides patient/family education and supports safety in hemodialysis delivery.
• Directs daily provision of safe and effective hemodialysis therapy.
