Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the outpatient setting is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP 1). The role involves coordinating care, assessing patients, planning interventions, and evaluating outcomes for a group of patients undergoing hemodialysis.

You will work with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians to ensure safe, effective dialysis treatment, provide patient education, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• CPR BLS certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state.

Responsibilities

• Performs data collection and analyzes patient data during dialysis and updates the care plan.
• Provides initial and ongoing education to patients and families.
• Delivers safe hemodialysis therapy and monitors patient response.
• Administers medications as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in staff training.
